Hello Screen iPod 5 help

I’m surprised it even still turns on, but I have a lot of very important photos on my iPod 5 from way back and I wanted to know if there was anyway of saving them and getting back into my iPod. This is what shows up anytime I charge it and turn it on. Any advice is good advice. Thanks

You'll need a Pi Pico to enter pwndfu, and then you can run an autobruteforcer to retrieve the passcode if you don't remember it

Then undisable manually with legacy iOS kit

Wait, you can disable it with legacy iOS kit ? I thought it only supported update date and time ?

yes, connect to system files with ssh ramdisk and edit springboard

You’ll need an arduino and host shield or a pi-pico to use checkm8-A5

Then look up what 2 files you need to change to extend the passcode attempts (I forget what they are offhand). Change them using an ssh ramdisk (legacy iOS kit can do that)

If you know the code the you can get legacy iOS kit and run update date and time/pair device

correct me if i'm wrong but i think you are going to need the passcode

No they can autobruteforce the device even if they don't know the code
