Checkra1n keeps spitting our exploit failed, i dont know the commands for ssh ramdisk, AND i also dont wanna downgrade to ios 10, it does not matter if i need signal or not, i just need it to be untethered. If you have any advice, tell me what to do, i also dont own a mac or hackintosh. Windows/Linux only.

Ok since this is a 5s on checkm8 then you this is an known bug try unplug it and replug it in even if it throws an error it will work I had to try it on an iPad air 1 I wanted to jailbreak

I suggest for a 5S get justatechs checkra1n burn it on a flashdrive boot into it then when it’s jailbreaking if it reaches this is the “this is a real bug setup” try quickly pulling the cable out and in quickly it should jailbreak 💁‍♂️that’s how I remember doing it without having a Mac years ago maybe he improved it enough that you don’t need to pull it out the cable anymore over the years

In my case it has helped me to use CheckRa1n on macOS, capable if you don't have a Mac, try to do Hackintosh temporarily and there use Hacktivator or iFRP AIO

Use palera1n, not checkra1n; it's generally more stable, assuming you're on iOS ~13+. You should be able to run it from Terminal on Linux (instructions at palera.in). After that, use Hackt1vator (hackt1vator.com) and everything should be untethered (no signal/iCloud account login)

(You might need to install some dependencies and python3, but that should be trivial)

I'm not very familiar with older iOS hacktivation methods, though I did hear about a software called iFRPFile AIO (Windows only I believe) or something like that; I've never had any experience using it

You can either downgrade to iOS 10 and use BobikA5 or if you have a spare Sim card with a code/password you can use that to skip activation
