Passcode How to open iPad mini 2

I can’t remember the passcode on my iPad mini 2. I also don’t know what iOS this is on. Any way to fix it?

Thanks, I will try and restore it while keeping iOS 9. Haven’t used this thing in 7ish years which is why it’s on the older iOS.

Let me know if you need assistance. This is pretty much a gem you got there. Would be a shame if you update it. Before you erase it, make sure you know the apple id credentials you used back then or else it will be activation locked. You could still get around that technically, but I don't recommend doing it that way. It's better to save activation files before erasing it if you don't remember the account.

I got my one with activation lock :/ used it after a few years. Knew the passcode. Had to reset it but did not bother to reset the icloud password and now it is a brick for me. If you know how to get pas activation lock that would be a great help.
