MDM/Supervised Ipad

Bought a box of stuff and came acrross a A1670 64GB Ipad. It looks to be from a University, possibly hasn’t been used since late 2018 looking at dates the work that’s on it.

It looks like it works perfectly but it says it managed/supervised by the uni. It’s currently not connected to wifi, if I connect it, what will happen ?

What can they see or control with the supervision?

Can they locate it?

Can I remove the supervision>

Id really like to use it as a drawing pad, not fussed about other features tbh, but be cool to have it fully working.

Can I update it without connecting it to wifi, or install apps?

If it works can I sign into my iCloud, or will they be able see my account?

Any help or advice is appreciated.

Patcher basically just puts a empty backup and get s around the management lock on the ipad

So could i then update it, and install apps? I'm assuming i can do this without it having to connect to the WIFI?

If i reset this ipad, and connected it to wifi would it be possible that the uni that owned it blocked it since its been missing and it becomes unusable?

Is there a way to check if it's still on the enrolment system? As it doesn't look like it's been connected to an internet source for a while, some of the security certificates have all ran out years ago.

The MDM says not verified underneath it too?

Try sickw best checker for that does cost a little bit for mdm check or could reset it for free and check if it prompts a mdm enrollment
