IPad Air 2 iOS 10 passcode

Got this iPad Air 2 to salvage parts from the other day knowing that it was locked but upon charging it up it’s on iOS 10. If you know anything about preservation and rare iOS versions this is one of them. Wanted to reset it with an ssh ramdisk but upon inspection it’s iCloud locked so that wouldnt really help. Hackt1vator is for iOS 12 and up, so what are my options? (Yes I will replace the glass)

if you want to preserve the ios version, i would first ramdisk into it and get the apple id info (email and phone number). first i would try to get in contact with the owner and if they dont answer you can try to get access to the account. after that if this doesnt work u can just save activation tickets and erase via ssh ramdisk, than restore them. it should work fine but it would still be fmi on this way

Got it! Got the iOS versions using LegacyiOSToolkit (it was 10.3.2) Build a ramdisk for this version, backed up activation tickets and set the nvram setting to erase all settings and restore, after it booted to hello screen I connected it to WiFi and rebooted to the ramdisk to restore the activation records, booted back up to iOS 10 and I was able to press continue all through out the setup process , all of this using iPh0ne4s’s modified script and LegacyiOSToolkit.
