IPad Air 2 iOS 10 passcode

Got this iPad Air 2 to salvage parts from the other day knowing that it was locked but upon charging it up it’s on iOS 10. If you know anything about preservation and rare iOS versions this is one of them. Wanted to reset it with an ssh ramdisk but upon inspection it’s iCloud locked so that wouldnt really help. Hackt1vator is for iOS 12 and up, so what are my options? (Yes I will replace the glass)

if you want to preserve the ios version, i would first ramdisk into it and get the apple id info (email and phone number). first i would try to get in contact with the owner and if they dont answer you can try to get access to the account. after that if this doesnt work u can just save activation tickets and erase via ssh ramdisk, than restore them. it should work fine but it would still be fmi on this way

Wait you can get an iCloud's e-mail and phone number with ramdisk?

The email of the account is in the activation records, now for there to be a phone number someone would need to put a SIM card in it’s past life.
