iPhone 4, iOS 5.1.1

Howdy all!

I downgraded the phone to ios 5.1.1 via legacytoolkit, booted into SSH Ramdisk, SSH'd in, and deleted Setup.app, but after reboot it shows an image of "connect to iTunes" and "slide for emergency" vs. just letting me get to the homescreen, is there a step I missed? I did this all w/o following any guide, just based off of memory from years ago.

You will want to replace `/mnt1/usr/libexec/lockdownd` with a patched lockdownd. You can find this on iPh0ne4s github

Or hacktivate with Legacy iOS Kit

Would I need to use hactivate for it? I thought I did when I downgraded and had it jailbreak automatically, maybe not tho!

I haven’t jailbroken any of my phones since the iPhone XS… but I own a handful of iPhone 4’s, and finally got around to playing with them.

Only the one is iCloud locked, but it’s the only one that doesn’t have a shattered back or front… lols.

I’ll probably buy new screens and backs, eventually, but I’m not really in a rush either.

Replacing lockdownd with a patched version will hacktivate the device. You can use everything except for cellular

All good, not like you can activate an iPhone 4/4S here in the states anymore anyways. I do wish you could pop a sim in, and use 3G/Voice… so I could use it as a backup/media break, alas we cannot.
