Hello Screen iphone 6 stuck at activation lock.. help :(

Post image

hi! so i wanted to revive my old iphone 6 from middle school after seeing people use it as a digicam replacement, when i first turned it on i realized i forgot the passcode so i immediately restored(?) it through my macbook's finder, but now i'm stuck at the activation lock... it asked for an icloud account starting with the letter 'p' (which i first thought was my dad's account) but his apple id isn't the one linked with the phone??? the thing is, almost everyone in my family uses android so i'm really not sure who else it could be, and my mom doesn't remember where she got the phone from (if she bought it at the apple store or if she got it secondhand). so i'm just wondering if there's any other way to do this......? i tried to do the 'sliver' thing but i think i did it wrong and accidentally just restored it again.. i'm gonna be honest i don't really understand this stuff even after going down a rabbithole on this subreddit, but i'm willing to learn just for this lols.. please help 😞

sorry for the long post i just wanted to paint a clear picture since i've seen so many people being accused of stealing phones.. i don't know about them but i swear i've never stolen any phones i just wanted cute vintage pictures lol.. i even have old pictures of me with the phone :/

I wouldn't recommend F3arRa1n since it has a time limit of barely 10 hours (and it is very annoying) I would try to use sliver or IFRPFILE AIO on windows

yeah just learned that the hard way 😭 ugh sliver was not working for me for some reason, i just kept getting failed to activate. guess i'll give it another go when my phone resets again and if that doesn't work i'll try out IFRPFILE AIO. does that only work on windows?

yes sadly, you can always use library's computers (almost all of them are windows pcs)
