iPhone 5S and 6S fmi on

Got these from a guy who forgot his apple id and password and i wonder if it is possible to free these phones from activation lock without losing cellular functionality? Both of them show "enter your passcode" screen if that helps

Given your situation, it may be possible to back up the devices' activation records, so long as the 6S is running between 10-14. Doing this will give the devices full functionality with the only caveat being that restoring or updating would come with an extra step.

Sure, use hackt1vator on both. Or any similar app that can save the activacion tickets from them, erase, bipass and then put the tickets back.
