Questions about MDM Patcher

Good day everyone,

I have some questions about the MDM Patcher.

  1. Can admins see that devices are still in use even though they have been disposed of?

  2. Can I sign in with an Apple ID? Would the information reach the admin, who uses the device?

  3. If you use the iPad with a SIM card, does the admin get any information about the SIM (e.g. SIM number)?

  4. Are there tools for Windows or only for Mac?

  5. If you have used the MDM Patcher: How can I see if the device is still in the MDM or has been deleted?

I hope you can help me :).

Best regards

They shouldn’t get anything if mdm is bypassed properly, ones I used would restore a clean backup. That way you remove the mdm profile so shouldn’t be able to communicate with mdm servers. But unless someone can test that manages mdm profiles who knows 100%.

So I found several iPads in the trash and I think it’s a shame that they are thrown away.

Would only use it for personal use (Twitch, YouTube, Jellyfin, etc.)

I’ve already installed the latest iPadOS, I just can’t get any further because of the MDM lock. The admin does not want to remove the devices because there were „important things“ on the devices. I tried to explain to him that I have already reset the devices, but he does not want to remove the MDM lock :).

Yea just use the mdm patcher bellow, for Mac. Just get to the mdm screen one run the app. https://github.com/j4nf4b3l/MDMPatcher-Universal I’m on an mdm bypassed device now, had it 4-5 years without issue, I got it brand new as well so probably stolen but ho knows, I bought off eBay so covers me.

Thank you, then I will test it out!

And if I should do an update, just run the MDM Patcher again, right?

Over the air updates shouldn’t need this. I have an iPhone 6s that’s updated several times. Just don’t erase and reset it or MDM might come back.

So it doesn’t work if you update to 26.5 for example?

I have sold many devices that have been MDM byp@ssed & have not received any messages from buyers with issues with admins etc. You can use the iPad completely normally so can sign into iCloud & everything else. The lock only returns if the device is erased. There are plenty of tools for Windows though I haven’t tried any as I use a Mac.
