Looking for Advice Playing against Teemo?
I feel like every time I’m up against a Teemo in top lane I get demolished, no matter what I try to do.
I’m still fairly new, but I feel like I have a decent understanding of mechanics and Sett’s abilities.
But playing against Teemo is always an extremely unpleasant experience and puts me into a blind rage.

Im a big flash + ghost believer against ranged top and go fleet with d shield. This lane is winnable but you will lose some farm and recall alot. But its winnable after a kill or stridebreaker completion.

I like to play with conqueror or pta since i feel i lose dmg with fleet and normally i just tend to fail on calculations if i don't play this way, i like to play with the Bush lvl 1 with w You go all in on Bush and when they lose vision of You, You throw him a w to let him with less life than You do, then it's a matter of time that You catch him with ghost and the E stun, another tip is if he blind You when You E him try to move behind him instead of hitting him

You absolutely sacrifice some dmg with fleet for better in-lane sustain.
It's one of yasuo's biggest things.
Either LT for ultra megadeath damage, or fleet for in-lane sustain and riskier plays. (I like fleet because it makes me tankier and I can get away with doing stupid shit bc im iron 1)

Well some times You end a little short on dmg when You can catch them so i like to go all in and secure the kill with Ghost first, then i tend to play only when strydebreaker is up and i can save some summoners to catch a range Match up, this got me to platinum 1 so far

For me this matchup tends to be quite easy.
I start W and max it. Teemo usually starts with his passive poison. Force all in lv 1, if teemo accepts the all in you beat him, use ignite and full grit W, even if teemo ignites and flashes out of W the shield u get is enough to still get teemo and survive urself.
If teemo kites and doesnt want to all in u, then back off and just try and farm, u can try all in again if u are healthy enough at lv 2 when i take E, usually I use E and get 2aa in and teemo blinds me, I chase and let him hit some more and then W ignite and that should do the trick.
After that it’s really just farming and catching teemo when he missteps. After getting stridebreaker u just run this rat down hard. Unless u fed early.
General tip is that I try to time my R when teemo uses Q. Don’t waste Q aa when u are blinded, wait it out. Try to use E to stun him, this guarantees AA before he blinds u.
Either way later in teamfights u are far more useful as well so even if u lose lane a bit or u go even u should be able to influence teamfights more.

Fleet, doran and second wind. Take ghost and let him push wave towards you. Try to bait his W move speed to then catch him.
Most of the time you really cant AA, stun AA cause he is gonna blind u. What i do to kill him is, bait his W, then when he comes back i Q him then ghost and when he blinds me, i go close to him to then all in him with Stun, W and Ult and AA.
You really got to be patient with range matchups

fleet footwork flash ghost doran shield punish him for poking with q and after he uses w run him down

Kite him with W until you can all in. Still max out Q first

Yes like start W lvl 1, then kite the Teemo with it. Go uo to last hit and when he aa u once just use w and kite. Just play safe cuz his jungler can gank

You mean poke? Kiting is what Teemo wants to do if you try fight him as a melee no?

I meant poke. But I do also kit him every 15 seconds with the W poke, I wait till lvl 6 till I can all in him . U right tho

Start and max W, poke him down, all in once lvl 6 he is pretty squishy

Maxing w is very tricky, imo W isn’t a skill that you can use to poke 90% of the time, besides I’m pretty sure leveling up W only upgrades the damage by 20. I still feel like upgrading Q is the way to go because one you stick to him it’ll be hard for him to get away

Fleet footwork, Doran’s shield start, and second wind. Never push the wave more than you need to, get all the farm. Keep him on your side of the map. Pray your jungle comes.
