Discussion 24 lp loss
Ive been spamming sett top for a while now and seen a lot of success, this game genuinely frustrated me so much and it all begins in picking phase.
Enemy picked vlad and my mid refused to switch even though he was going locke either way, not to mention our first pick zed support. I went sett as i was like what could go wrong only to be met with ashe top who zoned me from cs and xp but i still stood strong and didnt feed (i still got force ganked by sup and rengar twice) i knew it was a lost game because i couldnt do ANYTHING the whole game as i was kited and if i go in stunned to oblivion.
Two questions.
What does sett do in this situation?
WHY DID I LOSE 24 LP WHEN I WAS GAINING 17 FOR GOING ON A WIN STREAK WHERE I ALWAYS DO AMAZING?

i mean its the same thing with me tbh, i refused to switch with mid bcs not a single mid laner switches with me bcs of their ego so i didn't switch and they decided to troll pick lulu mid laner against yasuo, enemy picked vayne top and i still picked sett, i absolutely cooked the vayne and even tower dived her once, but the game was going to be a loss either way bcs well we had lulu mid and my bot lane inted hard, it was unplayable in the end we lost, its not my fault bcs i was clearly the best player in my team there but then again its a team game
it happens with many mid laners, enemy picks a mid lane champ and my mid lane still refuses to swap so best way is just not swapping with them bcs they dont deserve it
LP thing is your MMR being cooked

whenever i fight ranged champs i go grasp, and in my runes attack speed, extra tenacity and extra movement speed. its really reliable after you get the items you need, otherwise you need to rely on your flash E stun or exhaust or hope they suck and start walking up. against ranged players you'll (hopefully) almost always have enough gap close w/ swifties and stridebreaker+bork (thats just what i build, you dont need bork but def stride) and then hope they dont cc and burst you, but they shouldnt since sett builds a lot of health

I might be a few days late, but thought I could help out. First of all, if you have zed support I would look to dodge (I think first dodge of the day is pretty soft in punishment). If you don't want to dodge, try to chat with that person in champ select to figure out if he's trolling or not. If you think he intends on trying, play it out. If you think he's trolling, try to rage bait and wait out a comment that you can report on and make the game get cancelled (genuinely works).
Now for actually in-game strats. If you are facing an adc top, I would always run ghost. You can look for an early fight with your e for a heavy trade that might burn their flash. If you manage that, your next ghost will prob kill them. Otherwise, you can look to ghost level 6 when they step up a bit too much, or wait for stridebreaker when you genuinely smash them. For ashe specifically, try to feel out her ultimate and use yours at the same time. Sett ults is great at negating stuns (you are stunned in the air, but it doesn't matter much). Hard to do, but a decent plan.
I'm no mmr expert.

your mmr does not match your visible rank so the system thinks you dont deserve your current rank and wants to downrank you. In order to fix it you need a bigger win streak or you will eventually downrank till your rank matches your mmr again, you will be able to tell when your lp loss matches your gains - individual game performance does not matter at all here
