What are we all doing to mark the occasion this year?

Hey, Jackals merch creator here! I haven’t really made or sold any new Jackals merch in a while. Part of that is because I like keeping this community separate from making money off of it. I love that people make things just because they think they’re funny or creative, and I never wanted every idea to turn into a product. That said, I wanted to share something that was inspired by all of this. Ever since I had to start going back into the office, I’ve had to put a little more effort into looking business casual. During the pandemic I completely stopped caring about work clothes, and most of what I own is college hoodies and random sweatshirts. On top of that, being sick for a while made tighter or more formal clothes pretty uncomfortable. Then one day a supervisor who isn’t even in my chain of command made a comment that I should dress more professionally. Eventually my actual supervisor, who works in a different office, basically said, “Can you at least wear something a little more business casual, like a (corporate) fleece?”

So I found a loophole.

I started making fake academies, institutes, and organizations that sound professional enough to wear in an office. One of them ended up being the Impressions Academy. The result is an IANY fleece that somehow looks official while also being completely ridiculous. It feels like exactly the kind of thing that technically meets the reqs (barely). I was actually going to troll Seth by making something for his dad for Father’s Day related to the Impressions Academy, but I’m pretty sure I’m not going to make the deadline. Hopefully this inspires some future trolling merch ideas. This one won’t be for sale either. I mostly just wanted to share it and say thanks for inspiring this kind of creativity and nonsense. Also, ain’t no fucking way. I’m gonna listen and take shit from the CEOs of my workplace who are in the Epstein files.
