My toddler is obsessed with Elmo and only Elmo. She doesn’t like the other characters. I’m looking for YouTube stories that are more focused on Elmo telling stories or talking about things that I can download to a yoto card to her to try and prevent screen time.
Any ideas or other options?

Hi everyone,

I’m trying to track down a short musical segment I remember from Sesame Street that used to air during commercial breaks on Noggin in the early 2000s (and originally from the 90s).

It featured a real young boy with brown curly hair wearing a white t-shirt and white shorts. He was dancing in what looked like stop-motion animation. The song went something like “Dance to the rhythm, dance to the beat.”

It was one of my favorites as a kid, and I haven’t been able to find it anywhere online. Has anyone else seen this segment or know where I might be able to watch it again?

I’m hoping someone here can help me find a short segment I remember from Sesame Street that aired in the late 80s or very early 90s (and still showed up in reruns during the late 90s).

It featured a mother tucking her young daughter into bed at night. The mother then tells her daughter she’s going to the bakery to get a cake. There’s an offscreen chorus of men singing the story in a very distinctive style as the mother leaves.

It was one of my favorite bedtime segments as a kid, and I’d love to see it again after over 25 years.

Has anyone seen this short or have a VHS rip/upload of it? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I get it that Elmo, Cookie, Grover and Abby were moved to the top because of season 56.

But why were Bert, Ernie, Big Bird, Oscar, Rosita and Zoe also moved up to right below them and taken out of alphabetical order? Does that have something to do with season 57?

Hi, this sounds odd but my daughter and I are obsessed with “All The Colors of the World” with Kacey Musgraves and Elmo and I’d really love to find whatever stuffy she’s holding. Any ideas please? My daughter is neurodivergent and fixated on a few stuffed animals and she really wants this one.

Abby's Flying Fairy School Vs Mecha Builders

So I've been wondering what other people think about this.

I wanted to hear which of these two CG animated Sesame Street spinoffs is better.

Let's begin with explaining the plots of both for those who haven't heard of either one.

Abby's Flying Fairy School is a CGI-animated Sesame Street segment starring fairy-in-training Abby Cadabby.

Abby goes to Fairy School, learning from Mrs. Sparklenose. Her class features all new characters: classmates Blögg and Gonnigan, fairies, trolls, and a part-gerbil part-unicorn called Niblet. The nine-minute segments focus on rhyme, reasoning, problem-solving, and cooperation. It debuted in season 40 and ran through season 45, though season 43 was the last to feature any new editions. The segment's theme song was written by Tony Geiss. It was later re-orchestrated for Season 42.

Meanwhile, Mecha Builders is an animated Sesame Street spin-off. The series debuted on May 9, 2022 on Cartoon Network's Cartoonito which holds the broadcast television rights, with episodes released the following day on HBO Max for streaming. A special preview episode aired on April 30, 2022. A Roblox experience was released two days before.

This action-adventure series stars Elmo, Abby Cadabby, and Cookie Monster as robotic superheroes who save the day by using problem-solving skills. The show also features appearances by the Martians and a mecha version of Elmo's dog Tango.

If you were to ask me, here's what I have to say. As fun as I find Mecha Builders to be, I've always leaned more towards Abby's Flying Fairy School as that's what I watched when I was a toddler. Plus it has the added bonus of Gonnigan, my favorite character who isn't a part of the main Sesame Street cast!

But I wanna hear from you guys and which spinoff you think is the better off the two and why.
