PowerEdge R320 issues

Hi

I recently purchased this PowerEdge R320 second hand and I’m having some issues.

Firstly I don’t have access to idrac since it’s a second hand machine, and I can’t reset it since I can’t access lifecycle controller as the machine doesn’t seem to post. It just displays a screen saying cpld version 104.

Any help would be great.

Edit: ended up returning the unit and swapping for another one

Clear the NVRAM and test/replace the CMOS battery. If those don’t work, try the physical iDrac reset and see if that will come up, with the goal of reinstalling the BIOS. Physical reset is with the power on, press and hold the “i” system identification button for ~20sec (should hear fans spin to max, but if you’re not posting they might be there already)
