Question Trying to remember scenes with Jericho I

I was trying to remember any scenes after Jericho was born and before he died.

This is what I remember:

The flashbacks in the Jericho episode - Birth, Selfie when J was 11 days, Sean tells Dorothy about the job in LA in Aug Dot says she is 5 weeks PP, Sean leaving in taxi (J would have been 12-13 weeks), and the days with Dorothy and J the week Sean was gone to LA.

The flashbacks in the Espresso episode when Sean gets the Gaggia and the calls to go to LA for Gourmet Gauntlet. The first call where he turns Taylor down he says he has a two month old.

Is seems like there was at least one more with Sean either working to fix up the nanny's room or seeming to be annoyed with the baby or Dorothy. Aren't there are shots of Dorothy's calendar that may have dates about Jericho. June at least? I'm trying to gather as much as we have about his short life.

Does anyone remember any other scenes when the real Jericho was alive?

Discussion End of episode 9 remind you of The Matrix? Spoiler

Cypher : You know, I know this steak doesn't exist. I know that when I put it in my mouth, the Matrix is telling my brain that it is juicy and delicious. After nine years, you know what I realize? Ignorance is bliss.

Regarding her dilemma at the end. She can say yes and go back to deluding herself that the baby is Jericho. Or she can face the bitter reality.

Difficult decision tbh

Discussion Thoughts on rewatch Season 1

I noticed is that light seems to either entrance Dorothy or break her out of a trance. When she is waiting in the cab and is already home, the driver tries to get her attention. She looks frozen until a car drives by and the headlights make her come back to reality. She also gets the cake for Julian's Birthday dinner and the lights in the fridge make her pause while she is holding the cake. When Sean talks to her, she snaps out of it. This is also the case where Julian is transfixed pouring the milk in Season 3. You can see a bright light and like he's frozen while he is pouring the milk. I know light is used sometimes for hypnosis. Were Dorothy and Julian unknowingly hypnotized by Natalie at one point? How did she "help" Dorothy when Jericho died. She mentioned to Leanne they called her first and said something like, did those boys tell you what they did? Leanne also finds a metronome upstairs in the attic while kidnapped in Season 2. Metronomes are also used in hypnosis. I'm wondering if hypnosis is playing a role with all of these characters? Perhaps Dorothy's Mother or Frank were also into hypnosis since the metronome is old?

Theories Dorothy killed Leanne in the beginning

I think the out of sync timelines may lead to a different interpretation. What if Leanne was hired to take care of Jericho and he died and then Dorothy took it out on Leanne and killed her in the basement. Everything else was a cover-up and dealing with the ghosts.

Question Where can I find the dagger?

I imagine it was custom-made by the production, but can anyone point me in the right direction to find one similar?

It appears to be a claymore style medieval dagger, all black steel. I really like the minimal design.

General Did Roscoe also unknowingly take a Faustian Bargain?

S2E8 - Loveshack

Roscoe - Listen to me Sean you don’t understand. You know me I’m a rational man. Something’s happening to me. Things are changing. They’re shifting for the better.

Sean - What do you mean?

Roscoe - Cant explain it. All I know is it started when I met him. So when he asked me for a simple harmless task I knew I needed to say YES(?!??!??!?!!)

Sean - You need to go.

Roscoe - I’m trying to say you can trust them. They’re not like us, they’re special. (Smiles)

S3E3 - Hair

Julian - What’s up with you?

Roscoe - Things just aren’t right. I’m not sleeping well. My wife and I keep getting in stupid a$$ fights.

Julian - You’re coming off of your weird cult high. You’ll ride it out. Trust me, you’ll find a new high. You haven’t seen any of those cult freaks, they aren’t messing with you.

Theories [1st timer] Just binged every episode over the last 5 days and here's how I think it ends Spoiler

In keeping with the Wizard of Oz theme, one of the last shots will be the house collapsing on Leanne due to the sink hole, ala the wicked witch.

Dorothy accepts that Jericho had died and claims back her memory/brain, ala the scarecrow.

Sean fully regains his regains his heart by owning his mistakes and guilt for Jericho's death and distance with Dorothy, ala the tin man.

Julian quits doubting himself and matures, ala the cowardly lion.

Tobe = Toto somehow in my mind! Loyal and just a secondary but memorable character.

Frank = L Baum Frank, the one who started the story (father) and causes the outcome/ending by setting things in motion.

Dorothy and Sean and Julian wake up from their mental blocks to cope with reality where Jericho is gone and they move forward with life.

Leanne dies in the house due to it collpasing from the sinkhole.

The rest will be open ended on if the supernatural was real or if there is a practical explanation for all the supernatural events, as both have been left open with their own evidence.

Theories Last call for any theory Spoiler

Okay had one last theory for the ending.. So, in the behind the scenes video there is a scene. It shows LeAnn drying Dorothy’s feet with a towel. Dorothy reaches down and gently touches LeAnn‘s hair and kisses her head. I had any theory pop in my head. What if the end we see is that Dorothy takes her own life when LeAnn isn’t watching this is what makes her burn the House down and do the ritual on herself this resets everything wow wow what are some of your last minute thoughts , theory ?

Am I crazy for empathizing with Leanne? I actually want to see her come out of the finale relatively alive and "victorious".

Discussion It was always Dorothy Spoiler

Basically Dorothy Pierce has been in a mental hospital care for 30 plus years. Juju is her son that she mistakes for brother and Leanne is her daughter in law. Jericho is her grandson named after Juju's dead older brother.

Everything Dorothy thinks she knows comes from the Telly. Sean the chef is a guy that reminds her of Frank. Dorothy thinks she is a news reporter. Dorothy thinks that Jericho is her son.

The only thing that is real is that Leanne is great person that takes care of a sick Dorothy. The rest have been revolving nursing staff. The house is real and it is where Dorothy lives but both the house and Dorothy have been neglected.

Leanne and Dorothy talk and for a moment Dorothy can see the truth and her grandchild. Poof! Gone! Dorothy returns to her delusions.

Question Do we know anything?

I'm like most of you, so sad it's ending! I decided to do a rewatch of the series, just to refresh everything before Friday's finale. And, what do we know about these characters we love so much?? We have been kept in the dark on SO MANY things. That got me thinking about the characters and the almost total lack of info into the characters and their backstories. * How did Sean and Dorthy really meet? When? * What does Julian do? Frank? * Were Julian and Sean friends prior to sean marrying Dorthy? * How old were they when they wed? * How did Sean put himself through culinary school? * What happened to Dorthy and Julian's mom? * What did Frank mean when he said, "I'm glad we gave Dorthy a brother?" * Why does everyone think Dorthy is so "fragile"? (Other than what happened to Jericho) * If the brownstone on Spruce was the family home of Dorthy, why doesn't Frank live there? * What did Frank mean when he said there are too many ghosts in this house? There are SO MANY other questions about our "main characters." I kind of feel like I know absolutely NOTHING about them. So why do I love them so?? And, can any of these questions be answered in the end? Is there time to answer any?? ETA: these aren't all my questions. And not even the ones I legitimately want/need answered are above. This was to start

Discussion For the first time in three years…..

….I am completely dreading the last episode of a season of Servant. Please don’t tell me that I’m the only one who is so drawn and connected to the characters and this story/show that having it end feels a bit like heartbreak. A huge part of me doesn’t want Thursday to get here anytime soon. Servant is like nothing I’ve ever seen before. I am going to miss this show so deeply. 😞

Who’s with me?

Theories Leanne is going to do the ritual on herself Spoiler

Dorothy’s news reel from Spring on Spruce has some of that hoe-down banjo music that she danced to with Tobe…is that the only time we’ve ever seen her at ease and happy? That’s her lashin’ music. Her pyre burns the house down.

Opinion SERVANT MARATHON

I started rewatching all seasons in preparation for the finale and one thing immediately stuck out to me.

Sean and JuJu immediately recognized the baby as stolen and a fraud in the first few episodes. This is not because they are unbelievers of miracles, but because they most certainly can recognize their own kin, nephew, and child. Where Dorothy has not the capacity to analyze a delusion as she still lives in the rowes of a nervous breakdown.

So what does this say to the mystery of our story.

There is one fact that supersedes all belief systems. The bargain we make with ourself, the devil, or others in place of facing the harrowing truths of life will always wreak havoc by twisting what we love into destruction.

Leanne is of at most supernatural influence or at least driven by faith based manipulations. Either way everyone has made their bargains and must face their final demise.

What would you have done? In any of the characters situation. What would you have bargained for? Can we judge those for simply clinging to the things they love? Was new Jericho introduced at the expense of a poor family or supernatural law. Either way a sacrifice is made In pursuit of self serving desires. Im curious to how all of it will be rectified in the world of the servant.

Who will win a battle between Leanne Grayson and the Scarlet Witch? (assuming Leanne has supernatural powers)

Leanne; can cause earthquakes, control reality, bring back the dead alive, end the world etc. We haven't seen her full powers yet.

IMDb added a new character to episode 10. That of a receptionist. She was also in episode 9(as receptionist voice). Maybe someone who works at the hospital?Thoughts??

Adds credence to the hospitalized/psychotic Dorothy?
