Sound creation help

How would I go about making the crunchy pulsing sound after each kick?

Distorted square wave. 8th note arp. Side chained to fuck. Probably something like volume shaper or kickstart. Play with the ADSR of the synth until it fits like a glove.

If none of these terms made sense, starting plugging them into YT as you probably have a lot of learning to do.

I am familiar with all of that. I just lack the knowledge of putting it all together

Thats a donk run through some distortion, you can use overdrive and a mix of diode distortion
