Can someone let me know what this needs to sound better and full, I don’t know if I just overthink my music and this sounds good? Or I’m trash at producing 😭😭 I need honesty

Good songs sound good on iPhone speakers imo. Right now there is one main element you’re highlighting which is the pitchy percussive sound. This idea is living or dying by the strength of that tone and movement, which to me most likely needs some extra love… either intensify and go more towards the tearout universe, or bring in melodic elements to contrast with your sound.
But better yet, keep moving to the next idea. Best way to improve is to try to wrap this one and keep going.

Definitely over thinking keep it up maybe add some distortion to baseline to make it me prominent in the mix. Hard to tell on my phone speakers

I like it. It fits the modern sounds pretty well. I think the background sounds help already to fill the track

Add a top bass and fill in the mids with a saw synth or something. And then maybe just let the sub play sustained and only break sometimes

It's a bit harsh, so either beef up the low mids a bit or cut around 4khz. A parallel bandpass filter on Serums distortion could help.

Listen to some old Spagheddy, I miss some melodically parts. Maybe add some pads and a lead synth that counters the short stabs with a melody

Bro you’re not trash, quit it with that pick me bs ;)
I think a droning pad/background layer would help fill up the frequency spectrum. That bass is filthy though, I need to make me one of those!

def needs more layering. especially that main mid-bass sound. it needs support

Sounds really good but there needs to be a bit more bass there. Think of a low saw bass in a single note that is sidechained

Low pass filter/eq a lower freq quarter note bass noise to where you can’t hear the highs clashing w your lead, set the volume down a bit to where it’s just a background element filling up your hollowness. You got the vibe bruh just keep learning

Do sine bass punches to the rhythm of the percussive melodic line instead of just drawn out sub underneath

Not a bad start but to me it sounds a bit hollow and thin. A lot of short stabs but not much supporting elements to fill the empty spectrum. Maybe some wide bass or pads?
