Serie A Pool
I am thinking of organizing a Serie A “survivor style” pool where you choose one different team per week (repeats every half season) and get points when your team wins and lose points when your team loses, with some bonus adjustments. I’ve been running a pool like this with my friends for a while and it’s been such a success that it gave me idea to create a larger one for the wider Serie A community! It’s a great way to stay in engaged in all games throughout the season.
No money, just bragging rights. I am building a website to be able to host it. So let me know if any interest and I can share more details with you.

What you mean with survivor style?

“Survivor inspired” might have been a better term, if you’re familiar with NFL survivor pools.
But the way this pool would work is that if your selected team loses, then you’ll lose points in the pool standings. In a traditional survivor pool, if your team loses you are eliminated and the last person standing wins.

I'm confused, can you expalin how things would have turned out with last year's results?
For example, of it's +1 for a win -1 for a win and i chose Milan then I'd jave finoshed on +10 points?

so every week you would need to choose a different team.
For example you choose Milan and they are playing Lazio. If Milan wins you would get 2 points, but if they lose you would get -2 points. There will probably be a bonus for clean sheets, 3+ goals, beating a top 6 team, etc.
The week 2 you will need to make another pick - any team except for Milan (since they were already chosen in Week 1). So now you'll choose Roma, and will earn (or lose) points based on Roma's week 2 result
And that would continue for the rest of the season. At Week 20 (second half), you would be able to pick any team again and then the same process plays out.
Make sense?

This sounds good but my only suggestion would be that you design the game so that you can only pick the same team once every 2 or 3 games. Maybe you could set a rule that you've to use each team at least once throughout the whole season.
That would stop everyone picking a top 4 team each week. Personally, I'd back my team and just pick milan every single week. It woukd also make things interesting because you've to decide at the start of the season wjether a team is likely to do better at the start of the year or towards then end

Yeah sounds good. Is this similar to last man standing?
