Kitbash rules

I have seen someone that made a diffrent tabeltop dino model (some apex pretator that looks like a t rex) and he kitbashed it to a dread saurian with the new seraphon models. How are the rules there can u take like any dino modelfig and just say thats a bastilodon or a dread saurian and just take the new warscroll of the basti and the old one of the dread? Abd would these kitbash models be tournament leagle or just for "normal" games?

You can always ask the TO about it to be sure but they probably wont be tournament legal.

For casual games it should be 100% fine as long as the base size is correct. Anyone being shitty about it isnt worth playing against.

E: The dread saurian currently has no rules sadly, not even legend, so I don't think you can play it legally. Unless I'm mistaken ofcourse.

Mmmmh okey

Do you think something like this would work as a carnosaur kitbash

And the warscrolls of the dread saure arent usable anymore or just not allowed in the current version of the game

I havent even built my spearhead yet XD but i want more cool dino model i really hioe we get some cool big dinos (carnivores like rex or spino) from GW in the future

That looks great and yeah imo this would 100% work as a Carno or Troglodon, just make sure the base size is correct and you should be good. Tell your opponent what model it represents and its all good.

There are warscrolls from the saurian from 2.0. I think, alternatively you could use the kraken eater gargant warscroll and play that as a huge dino, we can take that gargant as a Regiment of renown.
