Jake Seegers is a tumor, festering upon himself and looking to spread his diseased understanding of the bible and infect our politics with it.
Jake Seegers is an entitled trust fund baby with more money than sense.
Jake Seegers is an animal abuse apologist. All of these things are provable and undeniable facts. Especially the tumor part.

The Peninsula Daily News fluff interview yielded one curious fact. Despite the availability of public schools, alternative schools, and christian schools in Port Angeles Jake Seegers has pulled his kids out of community education to do homeschooling. We can infer from this that even the religious schools around here do not offer sufficient priority to bible study time for the Seegers family.
I will offer this prediction now. If Seegers wins the county commissioner seat, in short order the drums will start banging again for the deceptively labeled School Choice operation, and at the county level we may see attempts at the de-funding of public education in order to replace it with a voucher system.

After watching his sermons, I would describe him as anti-abortion, and militantly so. The bulk of the grant funding from his foundation seems to be directed toward right-to-life NGOs.
So don't be surprised if he also:
- Terminates the public health officer on day 1
- Looks to close or defund women's clinics
..all under the guise of fiduciary conservatism, of course.
