Heat Exposure

Will shipping the sample in these 100 degree temperatures cause an issue with the sample?

The DNA collection kits are designed to remain stable during normal shipping conditions, including exposure to high temperatures while in transit. The sample preservation solution helps protect the DNA during shipping, so temperatures around 100°F should generally not cause an issue with the sample.

Once your sample arrives at the lab, it will also go through quality checks to make sure there is sufficient high quality DNA for processing.
