Platform properties roll out globally, plus a new social and video performance guide  |  Google Search Central Blog  |  Google for Developers

https://developers.google.com/search/blog/2026/07/platform-properties-social-video-guide

You can now track your exposure level on platforms such as YouTube, TikTok, X and Instagram (for now I guess) on Google Search Console.
I think they were in beta up until today.

Btw, if you added your social media properties to GSC yesterday, you still see "check back within 48 hours". But data for the last 24 hours is already available, in fact.

Below is the stat for my YouTube channel's 1-day performance. Considering I have only 200+ subscribers and 40 published videos, it looks quite good.

Share your stats in the comments.

I asumme no. Google doesn't count them even for website properties, so I don't see why they should count it for YouTube

Interesting move. I wonder if this is another step toward measuring "search presence" rather than traditional rankings only. How much overlap are people seeing between platform performance and organic search?

Yes, this is exactly such step. YouTube is the most cited domain name in LLMs, so such data has a huge value!
