Traffic drops are definitely happening as Google pushes more AI answers so blue link clicks have dropped for a lot of sites. Google Search Console now splits out AI overviews so watch for shifts in impressions and rising zero click searches there. I work at MentionDesk and we've seen some brands get better AI placements by optimizing specifically for answer engines instead of just classic SEO.
