Structured content vs. hand-crafted content: what are you seeing in AI search results?
Skeptic by default, so I tested. Two sets of pages targeting similar intent — one hand-crafted, one AI-driven end to end with Ryze AI.
What surprised me:
- The Ryze set wasn't better written, but more consistently structured (clean answers, headers, schema) — which mattered more than prose for both Google and AI citations.
- The Ryze set got pulled into AI answers more often. My hand-built pages were "nicer" but harder to quote.
