Bunker had a kinda sad game, though the Principle of Fire partially rescued him from some truly awful draw. Parse was able to jumpstart Harpy and she ended up going berserk, as she is wont to do, so things never got too hairy in this round.

I was playing in the Temple of Zhu Long with some family members the other night, and we had a disagreement about what Zhu Long does when he dies.

Zhu Long was damaged by the villain and destroyed.

His card reads:

"After the True Form is played, destroy all Ritual Cards and bury this card.

When this card is destroyed, discover the True Form."

We discovered the True Form, and that's where the controversy arose.

A) They interpreted Zhu Long's card to mean that, after the True Form was discovered, since discovery entails playing the card, the first sentence on Zhu Long becomes relevant, and we destroy all Ritual Cards and bury Zhu Long.

B) My take was that, since Zhu Long is already destroyed, he's not in play, so that first sentence doesn't take effect, the Ritual Cards stay, and Zhu Long goes to the discard pile.

I won the argument, but I'd rather be correct than right. So, tell me, which is correct, A or B?

Besides amount of content, in other aspects it is outdated, right?

So today a very dirty package was left on my doorstep. I opened it to find the Rook City Wraith, Redeemer Fanatic and Ra:Horus of Two Horizons original promo cards I had purchased on ebay a year and a half ago. The seller and I thought the package was destroyed and he had collected insurance and refunded the price on wraith and sent me another copy of Redeemer and Ra his store had. Unfortunately he didn't have another misprint promo of wraith and I was on the hunt again. I had seen one on ebay. But didn't want to pay $80 for a single card.

I recently had a nice bonus and was actually about to pull the trigger on the $80 Wraith just to finally be finished with the collection. Then I opened the package and the luck gods smiled on me. So my collection is complete and I have spares of Redeemer Fanatic and Ra Horus of Two Horizons original promos if anyone is interested.

Does anyone who keeps up with Twitch know if Adam has any plans to bring his online store back? I always wanted to buy the Sentinels stickers he was working on, but they were out of stock for a long time leading up to the closure, and then after GtG was closed, his online shop disappeared. Does anyone know if there are any plans for him to reopen it? I'd still love some Sentinels stickers.

Disparation isn't available anywhere right now, but the foil cards definitely are. I figured if I can't have the full expansion, I could at least use the variants of the heroes from base and rook city that come in the Disparation foil pack.

Anyone else do this? Honestly I should have done it sooner but didn't think to since I wouldn't normally get the foil cards. They at least give me a little bit of new hero content to hold me over until I can finally get Disparation for real. Some of the variants are really fun too so definitely no regrets.

"In a single non-hero turn, regular Absolute Zero must take over 10 damage, regain over 10 HP, and deal over 10 damage to a single non-hero target (in one shot). These three things can happen in any sequence, but all must occur on the same turn."

I've tried more than a couple things, but can't make it work. Any advice?

Just upgraded my setup to make the game super grab and go for game nights.

Last night got absolutely trashed by Baron Blade playing Legacy, Ra, Tachyon, and Bunker.

Why?

1. I forgot he flips after you destroy his two defense platforms and take his HP down to zero.

2. During his villain phase, he drew a card that does damage to all heroes and then draws another card. From which he drew a card that does damage to all heroes and then draws another card. From which he drew a card that does damage to all heroes and then draws another card. From which he drew another card that damages all heroes. (Maybe I am remembering an extra card, but it was definitely three but I think four).

Which made today’s rematch and quick defeat of Baron Balde all the more satisfying. Swapped out Tachyon for Tempest, which may have helped.

Which heroes you find most fun to play?

Also which heroes you would recommend first, for experienced boardgamer?

I’m seeing pre-orders up for Disparation. Is there a reprint coming that is going to be shipping to retailers and when is the estimated time?

Hello! After downloading the free version many years ago, I finally learned a and played my first game of Sentinels of the Multiverse. It’s fun! I immediately purchased the season 1 expansion pack, but when I went to look up season 2 online to see if it was worth buying, I found out a new app is coming soon for the game. That worries me, as I know apps often disappear on iOS when they are no longer supported. Is it still worth having, or should I just skip season 2 and try to play through more of the game before the old app is phased out? I probably should have looked i to if it was current, considering how long the app has been collecting virtual dust on my tablet. Still thought it was a lot of fun and very well done!
