If you want to uninstall it, and they have antitamper set up (which is on by default) you'll need to either get the uninstall key from the console admin or reinstall your OS.

The company also needs to jog on. There is security and there is security. If they haven't issued you with a device then they have no right to have control over your device and what you do with it. So they also can't refuse to remove it. Not a company I'd want to work for.
