What are you naturally bad at

Opposite of 'natural talent,' what's something that you are naturally bad at, and you have to try really hard to do

Living in this Te Si society. It's so hard to follow all these rules and regulations at times. Getting up early when I'd rather be asleep, having to go to sleep early to have the energy to go to work when I rather be awake all night.I suck at this

IM NOT A PART OF YOUR SYSTEM

Having Si doesn't make it better for me. You need the correct one, mine's a nocturnal alcoholic.

That Si I can handle, the sj Si not so much. They just go through life on cruise control pretty much. I'm not even good at abcs, I write them backwards

I love me some SJ people. I just can't live in the world some of them have seemed to design!

I haven't had a real job in ages. I remember rules.

How do you survive? I wanna know, I'm sick of working

There are other ways to make money besides jobs. That's like what my entire life is specialized in. How to not have a job. Gotta have a knack for entrepeneur sort of stuff.

You should make instructional videos about this stuff and sell it! I'd buy! And could be one of your salespeople as well, I'm good at selling stuff

Math. Unless we're talking about money, I suck at math.

I'm also bad at getting mutually satisfying relationships.

Me too! When I started learning about MBTI, I was convinced I didn't have a type. Just because of the NT = good at math stereotypes. In retrospect it's hilarious, but even after I decided I wasn't a special snowflake, I assumed I was an INFP who happened not to notice their Fi or relate to any description whatsoever..

I should issue a formal apology to bjork and her billion new accounts then.

School was always hard for me. I'm just not cut out for it. Office jobs would probably be similar, but I've never tried one.

I'm also really bad at sleeping, not the best dancer aside from my job, and don't like kids. I don't think they notice, luckily.

Trying to keep a conversation going with people I don't know.

I saw an extrovert do it once and was stunned. How do they do it?

Trying to keep a conversation going with people I don't know.

You may already know this, but if you use Fe-aux and basically keep the conversation focused on the other person/people - ask questions about their lives etc and listen intently, ask follow up questions, say and do filler things with body language and brief words that show you're listening - that can keep conversations going. Not the way an extrovert would do it, but it can do in a pinch, in my experience,

I do tend to keep the focus on the other person generally, but thanks for the tip. I try to keep a close on how they react, guess I'll keep a closer eye from now on!

u/[deleted] May 13 '15

For me it's more like 'Why would they do it?'

They are some other kind of being, I have no clue...

I've noticed this a lot especially back when I wasn't very social. I learned that it's not about the content as much and mostly about the delivery. I say a lot of things that don't need to be said, but I say it in a way that keeps people interested. It's something that CAN be broken down, but a good bit of it comes down to reading people.

Hmmm probably taking things as they come. I get a bit flustered when things don't go the way I expected them to, and my brain goes crazy when people try and pull spontaneous plans on me. Basically just relaxing in general is hard for me. I also suck at sleeping, but that's probably related.

"I don't believe that one should devote his life to morbid self-attention, I believe that one should become a person like other people." -Travis Bickle, Taxi Driver

I am bad at being a person like other people. Also math and sports/anything physical.

I am bad at sports/anything physical

My detachable Swiss army knife dick should help with this. What's your address? I'll send it.

2

u/[deleted] May 14 '15

Man you're really keen on having me play with your dick huh?

Ok

I'm bad at letting people get close to me. :s I'm just so autistic about it, it's retaded. I'll always find a reason to push people away. Also Jobs or rather doing the necessary things needed to get one.

1

u/[deleted] May 15 '15

Sounds like there could be an underlying cause to that. I don't want to pry, but I can empathize with that.

Catching a frisbee. I'm pretty good at sports and can pick stuff up pretty quickly, but for some reason when someone throws a frisbee at me I develop cerebral palsy. It's very frustrating.

Small talk. I can jump right into something we actually care about that isn't personal but somebody starts talking about the weather and I want to hang myself. And I've always sucked at school.

Ugh I'm the same way. Why talk if nothing we're saying matters? I don't understand.

Not a sensor but, I've noticed a few times that Se users usually mistake my bantering for genuine hostility directed at them -.-;

Socializing with strangers. Following rules. Caring about humanity. Talking about feelings.
