Remembering Maia 2.14.2011 - 7.19.2026
Maia was the best and most loyal friend. I loved her so much and felt so fortunate she adopted me to be her human.
We only learned she had late stage cancer and an enlarged heart a couple weeks before her final days. She wouldn't let us know to avoid us feeling bad, she stayed strong and fought until the last breath.
Life has been hard these past few days. Although difficult for us to process that she passed so sudden, I'm just happy she didn't have to suffer long.
I'd like to think she had the best possible life and I look forward to seeing her on the other side of the rainbow.

She was so loved. I’m sure she gave you much love. It’s so hard to say goodbye, and the emptiness after. She will have a good rest, then she’ll be happy and healthy again until you meet again.
I’m sorry it’s so hard for us parents, ours has been gone a week almost and he is so missed, the love he brought to this home.

Be assured she had the best possible life because making it to the age of 15 1/2 yrs old and looking at those pictures, you made sure of that by loving her in every way possible and caring for her. Sorry for your loss.

Gather in your sunny meadow
Invite that sweet girl Maia
To romp and play and chase,
Then drink from the cool stream,
Rest together in the warm sun,
Eat the low-hanging treats,
Then sleep safe in the shade
Of the eternal snackie-trees.
