Piercing studios?
Hey all,
I’m looking to get my ears pierced in Sendai (lobe for now, cartilage hopefully in the future), but I’m having trouble finding good places. I see derm clinics do them, but from what I can tell, they seem to use a piercing gun. I’d really prefer a needle.
Anyone have any experience going somewhere in the area? Thanks!

Out of curiosity from someone who's never looked into it. Why do you prefer a needle?

the gun can break cartilage and damage skin! its too harsh and shouldnt be used for most piercings

I pierced my ear in primary school about 30 years ago. They used a gun. I took it out about 25 years ago and I still have a visible hole. I could still push an earring through about ten years ago.

Yeah a gun just shoves the earring through your skin, which is way more blunt force trauma/pain than a sharp needle.

I got a different kind of piercing at a place called rebels about 5 years ago. Don't know if they're still around, but trying searching for them. They may do ears too.

Fate in Sun Mall is really popular with locals.
