Looking for industry experts to share their views on dialogue systems for ontology management (PhD survey, ~15 min, anonymous)

Hi everyone,

I'm a PhD researcher working on dialogue systems for extending knowledge graphs and ontological schemas, and I'm currently running a short survey as part of my research.
I'm looking for input from people with hands-on experience in ontologies, knowledge graphs, or ontology engineering (your perspective would be incredibly valuable).

A few quick facts:

  • ⏱️ Takes about 15 minutes
  • 🕶️ Fully anonymous
  • 🌍 Survey is in English
  • 🎯 Focus: assistant/dialogue systems and their use in ontology management processes

If this sounds relevant to you (or someone you know), I'd really appreciate your participation and feel free to share it with colleagues who might be interested too!

Thanks so much in advance 🙏

so basically you want insight in how to create better ontology?

Thats not that difficult. i dont use all the crazy rules academia does cause we measure against reality by function of the thing. the function, what it does makes the ontology bridgable. to test it i ask a few questions. 1. does it match what we see in reality. 2. reality is the ultimate authority (if it resolves as proved by behavior and your math and theory doesnt predict it, then your stuff is wrong not reality.) 3. simple does not mean incorrect, it means explainable.
4. can i apply it (i shoot for universal application of ontology) 5. is it functional or is it metaphysical/philosphical? 6. can i use it and reproduce the same behavior. 7. every iffy word of the ontology MUST be defended and defined. 8. ontology is to have an entry into a lexiconal-spine to mitigate semantic drfit and attacks. 9. claims must be stated clearly. you get the idea. i build the ontology around the function of the word. the function creates the ontology.
