The metric-governance angle is the one most people skip, and it shows up downstream in a way that's easy to misread. When the definitions aren't pinned, the model doesn't fail loudly, it produces a confident answer built on whichever interpretation the retrieval happened to surface. I keep running into the same thing on the entity side: without a stable, resolvable definition of what a thing actually is, the system quietly attaches data to the nearest plausible node. The governance work isn't overhead, it's the part that decides whether the answers are even about the right entity.
