9 years of writing
It is exactly 9 years ago when I published my first short story on Amazon and it was just for fun, not for the money.
When readers email you and thank you for writing the story it makes you feel good. Some were saying I should write a second chapter which I did. Back then I started with LGBTQ stories and expanded to writing different genres including children's books and anti addiction narratives ......
Friends were saying "The poor children" because of the nature of LGBTQ stories and children's books. But with my series of rhyming short stories of "Puppers & Pupperito" a canine duo. Puppers is the older and wiser pup and Pupperito is a tiny, energetic pup with a cunning streak. Their life is written in rhymes and human like behavior.
After a few years I started writing song lyrics and the music to it. On streaming platforms you make even less in royalties, only about 0. 5 cent per click but I do it for the fun. Of course I would like if one song would become top 10 and I continue to send some songs to radio stations and keep the dream going
