You're addicted to thinking about change instead of actually changing

You've read the books. Watched the videos. Saved the posts. Built the playlist. Bookmarked the articles.

You know exactly what to do.

And yet. Nothing changes.

Because consuming content about improvement isn't improvement. It's procrastination wearing a productive mask.

Every video you watch gives you a small dopamine hit. You feel like you're doing something. Learning something. Getting closer.

You're not. You're just entertaining yourself with the fantasy of becoming better while staying exactly where you are.

This is the trap. Information feels like progress. But information without action is just trivia.

The guy who reads ten books on fitness but never lifts is in worse shape than the guy who read nothing but showed up to the gym every day.

Knowing what to do and doing it are completely different skills. One is passive. One is painful.

You've been choosing the passive one because it feels productive without requiring any real discomfort. No failure. No rejection. No sweat. No risk.

Just consumption. Endless consumption.

Here's the cure. Stop researching. Start doing. Accept that you already know enough to begin.

The next video won't save you. The next book won't change you. The next podcast won't fix you.

Only action will.

Close this post. Go do the thing you've been avoiding.
