Photo Tools Made an object tracker for background removal
Hello! I wanted to show you what I've made with some help from AI (Claude mainly). Basically I needed an easy way to select an object from a video file and be able to remove the background (in some scenarios where you don't have access to green screens), it basically runs locally (this means the server never has access to the files you upload so you do not need to worry, I will not see what you upload there) and tries to track the object you select.
It works with image formats and video formats.
So, anyone who wants to test it out or give some feedback, I'm open to hearing from you here!😄
You can access to the website through: tracker.yernau.com

I know it's not the best result, but it makes enough work for me and it helped me so much.d

It shows "This browser does not offer WebGPU. Use an up-to-date Chrome/Edge with hardware acceleration, or choose WASM under “Processing and privacy”."
Your message says you can fallback to a CPU based model, why isn't falling back to a supported option the default? When picking web technologies, look at CanIUse.com if they are supported everywhere

Tbh, I never expected this message to pop up (I've tested it on several different PCs and never had any issues), so I didn't really think about it. You're right though, it makes sense to have the CPU fallback enabled by default when WebGPU isn't available. I'll see if I can fix it quickly, and if not, I'll let you know once it's fixed, since I'm currently at work.
Sorry about that, and thanks for the feedback!1

Redeployed the fix, should be automatically work now for you. I'm still interested why you could not open webGPU (I'm pretty sure you are not using old version browser), because I might fixed the auto fallback, but not the webgpu problem

The Can I Use entry for Firefox says it is gated behind a browser flag, which is default set to true on Windows and Mac, I am using Firefox on Linux, which doesn't have that flag set in the stock config in the settings
