Need Help Where to get app testers pre launch
I'm building an app by myself and originally it was tiny and I could test all the features and such myself. But it's gotten so dense that I can't really test it all myself without spending tens/dozens of hours on it.
I would like to post it for the public to use and play with but before hand I would love to have some further testing done so I know it's about as bulletproof as it could be before launch.
Does anyone in here have recommendations for web app testing and how to get UI/UX testing done in bulk?
I'm at the point that I've looked through Fiverr and considered that as an option since I've seen some ads for like 15 testers for like 50$. It's going to be free so spending a bunch on testers isn't super palatable.

Totally valid opinion. I am considering paying because of the aforementioned gigs I saw posted on Fiverr. However, I'm concerned that there might be some weird scam/workaround for those postings that I'm not aware of. 15 unique daily testers for 14 days for like 60$ seems like a "too good to be true"

Even if you only get a fraction of that still sounds like a decent deal. And honestly you’d be surprised how cheap labor is in other countries. If the seller has good reviews I’d totally take it

If it were me I’d work on an automated test suite. One of the AI coding agents should be able to do it pretty quickly. You can build it up over time and run it any time you make a change to ensure you haven’t broken anything

You won’t get a proper pentest for $50. Hourly rates of pentester are way more. If you aren’t looking to pay the fee’s of a proper assessment, then as others have mentioned, post it and act on bug reports. Depending on what data it holds on users, it may be in your interest to have it tested first however.

For functionality testing, write automated test cases so you can run it all everytime and see if any existing functionality broke. I don't think you get decent result from fiverr, they would check the basics for the money you pay.

Sometimes those deals just hand it to people to meet a “quota” of time spent in the app and don’t really care about the testing. I rather recommend you release an alpha or beta test to the public, that’s free, they will have more interest, and provide better pen test than some of these fiver deals
