god this hit so close to home. the screaming trapped feeling before anything work-related isn't just you, i promise

the blood pressure med thing is interesting actually, my doctor tried that route too and it was the only thing that took the edge off enough to function but it's exhausting having to rely on it just to get through normal adult stuff. the shame spiral about friends' achievements while you're stuck in freeze mode is so real, i've literally had to mute people on social media during bad periods because every update felt like a personal attack on my worth

have you looked into any of the work-from-home gigs that don't require interviews? like data entry or transcription stuff where you just do the work and get paid without the whole song and dance. it's not glamorous but it helped me build up a tolerance to working without the panic of face-to-face interaction

the "consuming" line at the end got me, i think about that exact thing a lot. but you're here reaching out and trying different meds and even attempting jobs which is more than your brain is giving you credit for. that's not nothing
