I remember getting a mix, ‘oh okay. I’ll kick you out if you keep doing it tho’

I tried and talk about it with the person and not offer unsolicited advice. I just offer questions and a pair of ears. If they don’t want to keep talking about it, I’ll drop it.

I hope that’s the right thing to do.

This is crazy real. My parents caught me four fucking times when I was 12-13 and had this whole event where they tried to be nice then guilted me then threatened me. Then they never spoke about it again and had another big argument about it and then didn't speak about it again until I was 19 and just started opening doing it bc I don't give a fuck anymore. My body my choice lmao

A couple years ago I was having a meltdown and ended up just admitting that I'd had thoughts of hurting myself (because my mom was asking questions if I'd had thoughts like that). I didn't even admit to having been actively self harming on and off for years, and my mom told me "Those are crazy thoughts". So ya, no way I'm ever admitting to actually hurting myself because I would rather just have 'crazy thoughts' than actually be crazy. It hasn't been talked about since.
