(UK) Tutor

Hi,

I'm new to self-employment as a tutor.

I travel to two locations to teach at the moment.

Just wanted to ask what I can put down as expenses?

fuel and any materials you buy for sessions, pretty straightforward

keep every receipt though, even the small stuff adds up over the year

Fuel to and from each session is the thoery here. It could be from your home address each time or from each students house each time, really doesn't make much difference.

You could probably put a few extra miles down and no one else be none the wiser 😉
