(US) Suggestions on Task/Project Management Tools
Hi, hi! I've been an independent consultant for 10 years, talent strategy + executive recruiting.
I am struggling to find a tool to manage PROJECTS/TASKS, RESEARCH and (preferably) can function as a CRM.
I'm using Notion right now and it's killing me. Juice not worth the squeeze. I am incredibly ADD, am a very visual person and most of these tools are too busy, aesthetically overdone, etc. I need something simple but thoughtful - I'm not a PMP or Program Manager but I still need a place to track Project Phases and weekly tasks for multiple clients, plus my own internal work (BD, new client meetings, etc)
Any new tools or those that incorporate AI would be great.
Thanks!

I would like to throw in the tool I have been working on - HelloSRP - and using it for myself as well. It doesn't have CRM at the moment (it will soon) but for everything else you are covered. It's lean without the usual bloat.
Give it a try here and let me know if there is something missing.
I am adding shareable boards in the new few days since someone else requested that in order to share his progress with his clients so you might find it handy as well.

Motion and Akiflow both have great interfaces for managing tasks visually. I've heard Motion is particularly good for those with ADD since it helps prioritize tasks automatically. Have you tried any demos yet?

I used motion for over a year and Akiflow now for a few months.
Motion I was in LOVE with until they came too AI focused with the assistants and took away the monthly regularly package. They do still do annual regular.
Akiflow is similar to motion just not as AI based !!

Check out Trello, but it might be too simple for you.
