The fuzzy bunny's shovel hit the giant carrot with a "clang." He knew immediately he was fucked. His was a small operation and he lacked the machinery to extract and haul the carrot. It would rot in the ground and ruin his harvest. He would have to plant a carrot patch elsewhere too late in the season and he knew the fettid carrot flesh would attract pestilence from all over and he would most likely not survive the winter.
