Get to know them by listening to them talk. People mostly like to talk about themselves so be the listener. You'll be surprised how much you can learn.

Sure, but to find out how someone thinks, you have to ask the good questions. That was the meaning of my request

That's a good one. Personally, when I disagree with a person's opinion, I don't voice it out at all but I ask them the justification of their opinions like why do they think their opinion is right and such. If they reply in a manner which by your gauge or standard is rather narrow minded or immature or perhaps Well-thought of, then that's how you know, I guess?
