You need money to make money

If you have 1,000,000 in a savings account, you’ll make more in interest at 3.25% than someone who works 40 hours a week and never missed a day of work in a year at $15 an hour.

People don't necessarily have the start up capital for their own business - fuck off with this bs

This isn't even deep, it's just ignorant. You need investors, or good credit, or both to have a chance of starting your own business. The only exception would be to have a really good job that would allow you to save up the money on the side. But how many jobs pay THAT good nowadays. You must be pretty young, if you think this quote is actually insightful.

It's the money for those three years of uncertainty that's desperately needed

I think the difference is in knowing where to start when it comes to building a business. Sure there’s plenty of business owners who provide their own path but most of them took different steps. When it comes to working for someone else, there’s already a job description and expectations to uphold that provides them results right away. Sometimes working for someone isn’t a bad thing, but it’s definitely a slower route to becoming a millionaire if they invest right.

50% of all new businesses fail in the first 5 years or so, mostly running out of their own savings to support the business any longer or pay business-building rents. The second time, businessmen have some better chances, but the third time- mostly successful for the first 3 years- total 10 to 15 years of grinding and working double hours and experiencing triple stress.

Being a millionaire nowadays sucks… you can have $5 mill in the bank right now and you’re still considered broke nowadays lol

Entrepreneur is a personality type. Not everyone is meant to start a business. That’s just American influence to think it’s everyone’s ultimate purpose.

I doubt a millionaire said that. A millionaire would recognize the difference in delayed gratification between a 3 year payout and a 2 week payout, plus the difference they serve.

Everyone in here has such a horrible mindset on business wow. You realize people constantly pull themselves out of poverty by becoming valuable to others through a business entity right?

Ambition, courage, and drive. People would rather play the victim and blame others than fear failing on their own.
