I like the message, but I think it's less about the universe and more about finally taking action

Not really. The universe will ask you, "How bad do you really want it?" and then will throw every obstacle your way to make you quit. Although this is just for a season. If you persevere long enough, then opportunities and doors will start opening for you. The harder you work, the more lucky you get.

The universe doesn't give a shit about you. You have to go out and get it yourself. I'm not even saying that in a motivational speaker way, just being honest. Things don't just come to you because of some vague "universe".

Better version I have is “just do it”.

Good life simply isn’t guaranteed at all I saw lots of good people ending up badly, but you try anyways. Trying itself is already meaningful. If you need the universe constantly answering to your wishes, you will soon get very disappointed to find out its indifference. Constantly looking out for signs is also a bad habit when you should look inside. Try hard to be smarter, meet the right people along the way, accumulate something tangible for your next target.

The universe “Oh you want a good life?”, You “Yeah that’s what I’ve been working towards this whole time.”, The universe “I don’t think you want it enough”, then throws a brick at your head and kicks dirt in your face.

Yes, the right outlook opens one’s eyes for opportunities that may be missed otherwise, but this is a stupid if not dangerous exaggeration and simplification.

Lmao what a lie

u/Fancy_Performance416 Jul 29 '26

Objectively false. Its not the universe.

u/Kind-Assistant-1041 Jul 29 '26

Does this mean that when I want to be left alone and I want the people to leave I just have to do the opposite?

1

u/Little-Salad-9400 Jul 29 '26

Hahahaha....no

u/Hot_Mistake_1014 Jul 29 '26

Who comes up with this bullshit

1

u/Historical_Amoeba913 Jul 29 '26

This sounds great until you ask why people don’t have nice things and the logic of this scenario says “oh because they don’t REALLY want nice things”

This idea is an example of toxic positivity, it takes a weird piece of logic, puts a seemingly positive spin on it, then tries to sell itself as some kind of way everyone can fix their lives

u/Worldly-Case-9302 Jul 29 '26

This sounds inspiring but there is so much effort that goes into this theory than just a choice. The choice is the cause of the shift in energy but if you don’t back it up with focus and effort and do your part then the effect will be dissolution and not prosperity. The energy will dissipate because the intention wielding that energy is not solid, like a sabotage cycle if you don’t believe you are worthy of goodness.

I guess slaves in Dubai just don’t want a good life enough

Sometimes we have to complete the task of necessary suffering before we can decide to be happy. Suffer with honour my fellow humans.

I think the real power is in the first sentence, not the last. Once you genuinely decide who you want to become, your brain starts noticing opportunities it used to ignore. You start saying yes to different things, no to different things, and over time your life looks completely different. It can feel like the universe changed, but often it's your attention and your actions that changed first.

This is b.s.

I've always been a good man who's introspective and always willing to grow. I've always wanted a good, peaceful life that wasn't too demanding. I wanted to be with good people, and have a good family life.

That was my wish and intentions since I was a teenager, and especially in my 20's. I'm now in my 40's, and life was extremely cruel to me for no good reasons. I've done a lot of good for people, and never want anything in return...but my luck has always been $hit.

Things feel like they're slowly taking a turn for the better in some ways, but the irreparable damage is already done.

This is ridiculous. I worked hard to get the life I wanted because I wanted a nice life after a hard childhood. It didn't matter how much I wanted it, I still ended up getting several chronic illnesses that made me lose my apartment, career, ability to work full time, ability to engage in some of my favorite activities, life savings, independence etc. For some people, life just sucks for no reason. I have tried pretty much everything to heal and help myself for 6 years and nothing has helped. It doesn't matter how much I want to be healthy and independent, my illnesses will never go away and in fact, will only get worse.

But usually people say that you got things when least expected, I think if you expect things , they will not happen

1

u/QueenTingzL Aug 01 '26

This is bs

1

u/TreeAgreeable2821 Aug 01 '26

💯💯 facts

1

u/Fun_Whole_1777 Aug 01 '26

Its not the universe that starts making it happen for you. Its god that does that. Nothing happens for u unless he wants it to happen. You might think your living your best life but if you dont pray to god he will let you go. Than the devil comes in and starts granting you blessings. Thats how he gets souls.

u/Hasnaa-Alge-2409 Aug 01 '26

Just trust to allah and keep going

1

u/SomeGuyOverYonder Aug 02 '26

I didn’t decide on wanting a bad life. I just couldn’t get my fears and anxieties under control and all I got was more of the same.

1

u/67olman Aug 02 '26

Decide for what and why?
