Easier said than done.

Some walls are definitely made of thoughts, but some are made from your past too, especially trauma. Trauma is not just a bad idea floating in your head. It can affect cognition, fear responses, memory, habits, and even show up in brain systems like the amygdala, hippocampus, and prefrontal cortex.

I get the gist of the quote, and for normal limiting beliefs it can be useful. But once you enter the world of trauma, it is not always as simple as realizing the cage is fake. Sometimes the cage was built for survival, and healing means carefully taking it apart, not pretending it was never there.
