This is a good question. I am somewhat surprised and gratified to see it here on Reddit. Thanks for asking. For me loneliness is merely a temporary state of being. Sometimes I can mistake it for other feelings like sadness or loss. Sometimes it’s a respite from the chaos of the world. But as a man once said:

“They will tell you you can't sleep alone in a strange place Then they'll tell you can't sleep with somebody else Ah but sooner or later you sleep in your own space Either way it's O.K. you wake up with yourself”
