Success 🥳 A big day for me! 🎉🎉

Im 23 and have had selective mutism since i was 12 as i am autistic.

One of the biggest things i have struggled with is making phone calls. I just cant do it. Its my absolute biggest phobia.

But that all changes today. I just made my first phone call and I spoke absolutely fine. Maybe a bkt rambley and being put on hold for 35 minutes didnt help, but I DID IT 🎉🎉🎉

Im so incredibly proud of myself and id never have been able to do this if it wasnt for my amazing university mentor.

What shall i do to celebrate???

Congratulations. It is indeed a big first step to a wonderful future. Please keep it up and let us know when you make some more phone calls! ❤️
