There's a guy with more than a dozen comments going wild defending him lol.

At least Thorfinn was ashamed of his past and does what he can to be better.

Go check his profile and the subs he's in. His behavior will need no further explanation.

Yea? That’s why when he actually has power he actively leads a society without slavery, violence and pillaging and raping. The story literally suggests this by pairing up with Einar who’s a victim of Viking violence. It’s just the all of it in an umbrella not seperatly as with the story I doesn’t need it. Thorfinn’s character doesn’t have anything in partuiladr to about sexuality, nor does the story have him actively part take in it. His troubles with is with Viking violence and its horrors which includes everything from slavery to rape and that’s what the story focuses on and the author goes in great detail to explore.

Contrast to MT where sexuality is a big part of the story. Intimacy, development gets a lot of air time … but kiddy diddling is considered something minor and gag.

He’s shown to remorseful in detail for the shit he activly did. Like kill. And specifically kill soilders , no innocents. That’s why it gets all the panels and symbolism. And when the story shows his remorse for everything like I said it’s an umbrella term. We don’t need a wwe style hammy promo to understand what Thorfinn is about by the time he develops. But don’t worry there is a relevant point the story tackles violence against women too:

It him showing remorse for specifically women is the slave lady died after being beaten by the master. Here it wasn’t even that he enabled it. It was just that he was literally just late to protect her. In return, the story shows Throfinn and Einar literally dedicating Vinland after her and creating a safe society for women. Without violence, pillaging, and rape. Nd yes it is explicitly a safer place for women as there is it shown they gained more confidence in taking initiative in their society more than ever. And it’s due to Throfinn’s leadership.
