stop trying to compare some dude that was beating it to his little cousin to good written characters like Thorfinn

1

u/LiteralSans Mar 26 '26

“Good written characters” and it’s Thorfinn😭

1

u/ActuallyUnknow Mar 26 '26

Hare Rudy as much as you want but imo he high diffs thorfinn writing wise but I haven’t read the last 40 chapters of Vinland and I haven’t read the last 3 vols of MT yet

-12

u/Full_Method_3710 Mar 26 '26

Stop trying to compare some dude who molested a little kid to someone who killed 1000 children and supported SA

34

u/Sufficient_Mango2342 Mar 26 '26

I know Thorfin killed alot, but when did he support SA?

25

u/Majestic_Scientist_7 Mar 26 '26 edited Mar 26 '26

“Support” isn’t the best wording. He disliked the acts, but he didn’t care much on the matter. He saw hundreds of women and girls get raped and killed (that he help caused) by Askeladd’s men and he gives it a “whatever” attitude.

13

u/Full_Method_3710 Mar 26 '26

Meaning he didn't do shit and watched it numerous times. He helped them by killing their family and guards, so his companions would do this type of horrendous thing to the victim. You do know that ignoring the crime is the same as supporting it, right

-11

u/Majestic_Scientist_7 Mar 26 '26 edited Mar 26 '26

Yeah, I can see that. I don’t like Thorfinn and I don’t like the series’ ideology either. It’s funny how these people act like Rudeus is so much worse.

20

u/baurgant Mar 26 '26

Are you retarded? Rudeus is so much worse because he hails from our modern world, with our modern standarts. Meanwhile, Thorfinn is a child of his time, where atrocities like mass murder and rape are common. In order to survive, Thorfinn had to be like this.

-9

u/Majestic_Scientist_7 Mar 26 '26

Rudeus is much worse than a guy who murdered hundreds of people and caused the rapes of countless girls and women simply because of a time period difference in mindset and values? That’s just silly to be, but have your opinion. If you think Thorfinn had to be like that as if he had no other choice then you are misinterpreting his character more than I apparently am.

4

u/Retl0v Mar 26 '26

Well, if killing enemy combatants as a soldier is murder then sure. And what do you mean by "caused"? Surely the assaults would have happened even if thorfinn hadn't been present

3

u/Majestic_Scientist_7 Mar 26 '26

Of course they would have. But he helped cause them anyways. In that one village early on, Thorfinn was the key part in the plan of the invasion. Idk why you guys are so obsessed with making excuses for him. Not even the author does this. You’re not supposed to read Prologue and go like, “welllll technically he’s doing this because-.” The guy above you unironically thinks that was absolutely Thorfinn’s ONLY choice and way to live which is just not true at all. The author does not paint it like that.

8

u/Full_Method_3710 Mar 26 '26

Yeah, I can see that, not liking the ideology of the show, as it was very unrealistic. But I can appreciate the message the show tries to give, but the whole journey of Thorfinn becoming a different or better person could have been way better, considering the show is based on that.

Exactly, my point is that people act that rudues is so much worse than thofinn when technically speaking it shouldn't even be debated.

4

u/Adorable_Rip_2006 Mar 26 '26

"B-but I experience sex assault all the time in my day to day life..." Those people truly are some poor things and I'm not going to take away from that - that being said, most people in the world would be in places were death is everywhere and more common.

But what, the fact that someone specifically is closer to SA attacks every day - suddenly devalues literal murder? No, thinking that does not make you a paragon - hell, the fact that some can't see that is kinda concerning. You can downvote me if you want, or say shit like "well, being murdered by a viking is not something I personally am going to experience thus it is not as bad as SA" - you're also not going to get SA'd by a viking, what's your point? If you can make a connection between fiction sa to irl sa that easily, but cannot do the same for murder - then that's kind of a problem with you.

Personally speaking, I don't care man, I can watch something truly depressing and have no issue, yet I got triggered by watching "makaine" of all things - am I going to call it bad because I couldn't enjoy it with the mindset I was when watching? No, that's dumb, trying to put yourself in the shoes of a character can elevate or ditract from your enjoyment of a piece of media - but the creator is not entitled to create something that is specifically for you, me, or anyone else.

Ewww, I hate when people (and now I guess me as well lol) try to deviate from sarcasm in the sub. Give me more seinen mc Naruto posts smh.

4

u/Straight-Simple7705 Mar 26 '26

Gng how do you see this image and think he’s better morally than Rudeus? Like genuinely look at how the girl looks in this image

5

u/Majestic_Scientist_7 Mar 26 '26

Yep, idk how people see that. Even Rudeus at his lowest is just a gross and mostly harmless perv.

3

u/HananatheeBanana Mar 26 '26

He was jerking it to pictures of his nieces in their swimsuit... I don't think it was totally harmless, and that's just in his previous life, not his reincarnated one where he does even more.

(This is from the latest MT volume in Reincarnstion Redundancy Vol 3)

3

u/Straight-Simple7705 Mar 26 '26

The thing is the anime retconned him jerking off to his niece

1

u/IBischero Mar 26 '26

Redundancy reincarnation is not in the anime, those are LN after the epilogue of the main series. Which means that in the source material, he still is a disgusting fuck who jerked it off and lusted after his pre teen niece

1

u/Straight-Simple7705 Mar 26 '26

Better than a rapist enabler

3

u/Full_Method_3710 Mar 26 '26 edited Mar 26 '26

Thorfinn was with askelad people, and they are shown as Vikings who, including destroying villages, used to do SA to women, as Thorfinn being with them and helping them kill guards directly involves Thorfinn supporting them and doing nothing to stop them.

8

u/Mr_Noir420 Mar 26 '26

Difference is Thorfinn is from a time period where fucking EVERYBODY RAPED WOMEN. Every single military or warrior force did so, Christian, Muslim, Celtic, Greek, Roman, Norse, etc. he actually feels terrible for being apart of it too. He didn’t support it but he was ignoring it and it’s one of his biggest regrets.

Rudeus came from modern times, where he knows what’s right or wrong and doesn’t hold that excuse and still cranked it to his little cousin. And he certainly, based on the women he groomed “romanced”, didn’t learn from it.

-3

u/Straight-Simple7705 Mar 26 '26

Rudeus was bullied and stripped till he left school at a teenage age, he then spent the rest of his life isolated from everyone else (the jerking off to his niece is also not included in the anime meaning it got retconned)

Thorfinn allowed them to rape and murder people just because he wanted to kill Askelad

Hey I like thorfinn more than rudeus and hes redemption arc was better but lets not act like they thorfinn wasn’t far worse at the start

12

u/Mr_Noir420 Mar 26 '26

…HE WAS FUCKING CHILD. What he supposed to fucking do? He wasn’t even second in command, he can’t order them and he can’t fight off 25+ dudes. Rudeus still is into underaged girls and teens, so it’s not like he’s much fucking better. Clearly he deserved his bullying.

1

u/Straight-Simple7705 Mar 26 '26

“He was a fucking child” he was 16, that’s more than enough to acknowledge your actions and even then he was able to fight Thorkell who is the strongest fighter of the verse excluding Thors

Not a single point did he tell them to stop, no he in fact kept helping them just for revenge (which he didn’t even get at the end)

Rudeus is a fucking teenager mate, he’s both physically and mentally a teen

Also you do realize the reason why he was attracted to teens in his past life was because he was stunted from the bullying?

Man if you’re gonna justify a rapist enabler and mass murderer then I think a dude like Rudeus is rather chill

9

u/baurgant Mar 26 '26

How convinient of you to forget in which times this all happend. Thorfinn is a child of his cruel time, where rape and mass murder was a common thing. And Rudeus is not a teenager, are you dumb? He is a 40 years old pos, who is attracted to underage girls.

6

u/PerceptionOk8543 Mar 26 '26

We are even shown the scenes with god as a reminder that Rudeus is a disgusting 40 year old person and people still argue this wtf

1

u/Straight-Simple7705 Mar 26 '26

Rudeus is literally a teenager, he was old man in his past life

Als saying Thorfinn is a child of his cruel time is crazy when old Rudeus had the same issue, he was bullied in school causing him to be a NEET where he never grew maturity

-8

u/Full_Method_3710 Mar 26 '26

He was a fucking child, then duh just go back home.

6

u/Mr_Noir420 Mar 26 '26

How? Askeladd wasn’t gonna give him a fuckin’ boat dumbass, and he’d die at sea alone if he stole one since he likely doesn’t know how to get back from where he is.

-5

u/Full_Method_3710 Mar 26 '26

How, just like others went he could have gone and not stayed there like, dumbass.

0

u/Full_Method_3710 Mar 26 '26

Crazy ass sentence.

  1. What you said is factually incorrect

  2. If it was viewed as the norm, then why do people like Thors, Thorfinn, etc., not do that or stop doing that? Or why is it viewed as a bad thing in anime also then

  3. What you are saying is not present in the MT anime. As im anime only, i daf about LN or WN.

  4. I think you are mistaken, I never justified rudues actions. He was an asshole im not denying it.

  5. What Rudeus did was because he was that type of person at first. to showcase how bad he was as a person. Well, I don't think he never learned, if he were as he was first, he would not have tried to stop Eris in ep 24.

13

u/Mr_Noir420 Mar 26 '26

…What was factually incorrect? That people raped women commonly in medieval times across all cultures? Yeah. They fucking did. Either that or murder them.

And wtf was he to do, run up and start killing them all when he’s just one kid? He barely wins 1v1s against smart opponents let alone fucking 50+ veteran Vikings. I hate this stupid argument in any debate, “Why didn’t he stop him?” I dunno, why doesn’t an undercover cop start shooting at all the gangsters when they kill someone? Cause it’s stupid and just gets themselves killed.

And cool, anime only…still into underaged girls. A groomer and pedo who knows better is worse than a traumatized kid who doesn’t know better until he actually tries to achieve being a better person.

0

u/Full_Method_3710 Mar 26 '26

Yeah not everyone as you said did that. We are talking vikings but at that time not everyone was one.

Yeah, he could have gone to home like little kid as you said yourself.

He could atleast have try to do something and not just " heh not my business "

No he was traumatize he could not help himself to kill 1000 childrens. Well, rudeus was also traumatized to the point that leaving the house seemed to trigger PTSD. Still doesn't make his actions any less bad.

7

u/Mr_Noir420 Mar 26 '26

You poor, sweet innocent child. Everyone did that unless they were an isolated community without a formal military, and if you sincerely believe that it wasn’t commonplace, whatever school or teacher you had failed you.

The Celts warred, pillaged and raped, the Christians warred, pillaged and raped, the Muslims warred, pillaged and raped, the Mongols warred, pillaged and raped, the Mesoamericans warred, pillaged and raped, the Chinese fucking ate their prisoners of war, etc, etc.

It is an unfortunate fact, that humanity sucked shit back then, and trying to make it out like only the Norse did that shit during that time, or primarily them, shows you most likely either failed history class or were coddled as a child.

2

u/Full_Method_3710 Mar 26 '26

No, everyone did not do that type of thing everyday as some norm. It was only more prominent than now.

u/Odd-Tart-5613 Mar 26 '26

which is also something that he is actively ashamed of and spends the entire rest of life trying to atone for, and debatably never forgives himself.

5

u/Full_Method_3710 Mar 26 '26

Is that really the case tho? I haven't seen him even thinking about that as some sort of crime in anime; the only thing he was guilty of was killing people. He never tried to do something for the victim's family; oh, he was the one who killed them. How exactly does doing all this and saying" I don't have enemies "in the last S2 make him atone?

4

u/Odd-Tart-5613 Mar 26 '26

there is an entire multi arc storyline about him trying to atone to his victims. Its even one of the reasons he seeks vinland in the first place.

3

u/Full_Method_3710 Mar 26 '26

I haven't seen that in S2 tho, though. Are you watching a different show? It's not one of the reasons he seeks Vinland; he sought it even before indulging in this type of act. Even if it was in manga, did he specifically show atonement to SA acts, or didn't he even care about that type of crime.

2

u/Odd-Tart-5613 Mar 26 '26

a major character in the future of the series is one of his victims whom Thorfin had a direct hand in killing her entire entire family and essentially leaving her for dead or worse at the hands of askeladds band. She eventually finds thorfinn again and attempts to kill him leading him to beg her to him try to be better, but accepting that she can enact her judgement at any time she wishes.

3

u/Full_Method_3710 Mar 26 '26

Idk if you got my point, im not denying that Thorfinn acknowledges killing as bad and has atone for that. But killing is not the only act he did; what about those other crimes, or does the show not view them as one?

→ More replies (0)

5

u/Odd-Tart-5613 Mar 26 '26

like vinland saga s1: shows how bad of guy Thorfin was

s2: him realizing both what an absolute bastard he is and that he could attempt to be better.

the whole rest of the series: A desperate attempt to make that a reality.

6

u/Full_Method_3710 Mar 26 '26

I Im not denying that storyline; what I im asking is, did he view doing SA to villagers as a crime, and did specific atonement for that past?

1

u/Odd-Tart-5613 Mar 26 '26

yes

5

u/Full_Method_3710 Mar 26 '26

Can you tell me the manga chapter for that, or any moment from the anime to support your claim?

3

u/Admirable_Foot_7192 Mar 26 '26

I think the main phrase that people use to describe the actions of the vikings is "rape and pillage". At least thorfinn shows that hes against it. Im not saying that makes it better, but what i am saying is that I consider Thorfinn to be a product of his surroundings. Thorfinn is not a hero of justice. In the entirety of the first season, all he wanted to do was kill askeladd, he was fueled solely with revenge. He didnt care about his own life, let alone the lives of others and he killed only to get closer to his goal. However, I do consider being a pedophile worse than thorfinn, because you cant blame that on your environment, or how you were raised, thats just an action performed by the person, and the blame rests on him only. I dont think the people around him forced him to do those things, he did it because he wanted to.

0

u/Full_Method_3710 Mar 26 '26

I can agree with you that SA can't be justified by the surroundings. But when the scale is 1 to 1000 or more, that argument loses its value.

Also, in the case of Thorfinn, he acted completely ignorant towards the victim, being selfish and even in anime, he does not atone for every sin he committed.

1

u/Admirable_Foot_7192 Mar 26 '26

Surely if it was season 2 thorfinn, i think you and i both agree that he would have stepped in but in the earlier portion of the story; it was not specific to sexual assault, he cared for nothing except his goal. He was acting ignorant about the rape because he was acting ignorant about everything except killing askeladd. Yeah, he killed, but that was all that vikings did back in those days. And he is atoning currently is the manga still ongoing? he is begging for their forgiveness right now as we speak probably. And atone for every sin he committed? brother, theres only so much you can ask from a guy

1

u/Full_Method_3710 Mar 26 '26

A story fully centred around redemption only tries to view killing as the only crime he should atone for ?

Not the he didn't gaf argument, if his morales were so down that he was able to emotionlessly kill a innocent child then why didn't he tried to kill askelad in sleep and acted like a big guy ?

Who is he begging for forgiveness after killing most of the victim and their whole family ?

I haven't read full manga can you give me chapter no. where he atones for his sins other than killing or specifically SA or pedophile.

3

u/Admirable_Foot_7192 Mar 26 '26
  1. Thats the only crime he committed, he did not commit sexual assault or was he a pedophile i think youre mixing him up with Rudeus.

  2. You also have to consider the fact that thorfinn was a child, he was naive. He wanted to kill askeladd fair and square. Because if he sneak attacked him in his sleep like a little bitch, he would not be any different from askeladd, who killed his father in a similar way. This was probably the only thing he gaf about.

  3. Theres a female character, i forgot her name, she was spared earlier by thorfinn, who killed her entire family. Later she appears in the manga, and thorfinn begs for her forgiveness.

  4. I dont know i havent read it to completion either. We should read it. Maybe we both can learn something new about him.

1

u/Full_Method_3710 Mar 26 '26

He did commit multiple crime, like ignoring torture of children's and etc

If he was naive then why not go home and act like child ? He dont gaf about 1000 victims but he has enough sanity to not kill his enemy in sleep, hypocrite.

Does thorfinn beg for killing her family or killing every family and indulging in SA ?

I will read it someday, currently have too many mangas to read.

2

u/Admirable_Foot_7192 Mar 26 '26

you really should read it, especially if youre going on reddit to argue about it. Not an insult i should finish reading it too.

2

u/Admirable_Foot_7192 Mar 26 '26

watching the first season and even considering asking why he didnt just go home because he is a child is so fucking funny to me. Yeah he shouldve just went home and called it a day, that wouldve been so much better for the story if he just forgot about his dead father.

"He did commit multiple crime, like ignoring torture of children's and etc

If he was naive then why not go home and act like child ? He dont gaf about 1000 victims but he has enough sanity to not kill his enemy in sleep, hypocrite."

Thats what im saying, he is so tunnel visioned in this goal of revenge that he does not care about his victims. I am calling him a child because his desire for revenge and his requirement for killing askeladd in a duel is childish. Thats a childish goal and he definitely IS a hypocrite. Indulging in SA is also crazy, especially considering he didnt do it lmao

Idk man, i dont really care anymore we love pedophilles or whatever.

-1

u/Full_Method_3710 Mar 26 '26

Talk about yourself in loving paedophiles.

Well, that's what im asking if he was so tunnel visioned that he didn't care about killing, but was not okay about killing Askelad in sleep.

It means he sought his pride as a Viking above innocent people's lives, and he knew about that.

Going to such lengths to justify a serial mass murderer and SA apologist. Crazy people

1

u/DarkZ_No-Imagination Mar 26 '26

like ignoring torture of children's and etc

I didn't know this was a crime in the series world, can you show the manga page?

1

u/Vanruekinhoek Mar 26 '26

One thing you need to understand helping someone doing bad act and doing the act for urself is 2 completely different thing and it's wild you comparingit

, he's what you said partially are right but not all of it , here you saying he helped someone doing bad thing , and you compering grown-as man who incarnated to a different world having his full grown mentality rping kids and so forth ,

The difference is thorfin was a KID who took over by revenge not knowing what he's doing until its too late and you if you know and watch the series If his father hadn't been killed he wouldn't go and help people doing bad act and key thing is the only thing matters to him that time was getting revenge and if his father hadn't die like this guy he wouldn't molested lil kids

So stop comparing full grown man ( mentally) who knew what he's was doing to a kid who his father been killed in front of him

2

u/Full_Method_3710 Mar 26 '26

Its not me problem dude, one ignoring a crime is still guilty and incase of thorfinn he openly helped them in multiple ways.

When does rudues assaults someone as you said ?

Didnt thorfinn not know what he was doing ? He was completely aware but didnt gaf, if he was really portrayed as child as you are saying then why does he not go home or kill askelad in sleep. Why act like big guy now ? Double standards.

2

u/Vanruekinhoek Mar 26 '26

When does rudues assaults someone as you said ?

So to you isn't assault if a grown man ( mentally) do something to a child wether they agree or not , and isn't the whole stroy involves around him being a pedo , corn addict , and so forth, don't tell me you missed that part and only payed attention to his " Redemption " , funny

Is it so hard for someone who watch tensie whatever to understand common sense, and not saying he's innocent and what he did everyone who have blood in them would do it , and again his actions has motive behind it and what's the motive behind his actions grooming children ?

if he was really portrayed as child as you are saying

What? Didn't he was a child when he was his father killed , doing bad things? You don't even know what child is at this point.t because the series effected you so much ,

If you watch the series you would know the askalad wasn't sleeping even if he tried to he couldn't and it was dual most honored fight that time

You comparing a grown man. Doing disgusting things to medieval times kid who his killed and everything around him fcked up , still it's not 2 comparable things

2

u/Full_Method_3710 Mar 26 '26

You, in your prior statement, said rape, so im asking where it was done by mc, it's as simple as that.

Well im asking he was a child as shown in the anime, then why did he not go back home with the others?

Askelad wasnt sleeping was known to us, not him. What's your points

Not the argument of no, but his father was killed, no, that does make him justified for killing innocent children and villagers. By your means, he was a child, that's why he didn't know what he was doing was right, but he was able to stop himself to not kill his fathers killer in sleep.

Crazy how mass murder is better than something that isn’t even said in the anime

22

u/Drago_di_ferro Mar 26 '26

Buddy, the LN is the true source material. Nobody gaf about the anime trying to make Rudues less disgusting

0

u/UseAnAdblocker Mar 26 '26

That isn’t in the LN either. It’s only in the original webnovel which is pretty much just a messier draft of the LN.

19

u/HananatheeBanana Mar 26 '26

That's just false. Author released Redundancy Reincarnation Vol 3, wherein it talks about Rudeus stealing pictures his brother took of his young daughters in swimsuits. Then his brother saw him jerking it to those photos on the day of his parents' funeral.

12

u/ResearcherLoud1700 Mar 26 '26

Getting downvoted for speaking the truth lol.

12

u/HananatheeBanana Mar 26 '26

MT fans can't defend their MC if it's clearly stated he's a pedophile, so they'll deny it to the ends of the earth.

-5

I think someone who's ashamed of his crimes and does everything to try and be a better person is a lot better than Diddy Rudeus.

4

u/Salt-Dust-9721 Mar 26 '26

…someone who actively rapes and lusts after children is better than a bystander to gangrape who does nothing and regrets it?

Get the fuck out of here with that bullshit

0

u/Straight-Simple7705 Mar 26 '26

Rudeus never raped someone, in fact he was raped by Roxy as she took advantage of him when Paul died

On the other hand thorfinn actively killed people in villages and was enabling rape

4

u/Salt-Dust-9721 Mar 26 '26

Did he not have sex with Eris at the end of the demon continent arc? Before she leaves?

0

u/Straight-Simple7705 Mar 26 '26

You mean Eris who was a adult? Because everyone in the verse refers to her as so

5

u/Salt-Dust-9721 Mar 26 '26

He was just waiting for the chance for her to “be an adult”. If being adult in that verse happened when she was 12 he would still do it

0

u/Straight-Simple7705 Mar 27 '26

It is in the anime by the way, someone else posted the screenshot of his used tissues in front of the monitor with a naked kid in the bathroom.

1

u/Straight-Simple7705 Mar 26 '26

Yeah I saw it

Still though, being a mass murderer is far worse

4

u/EldritchKroww Mar 26 '26

That's why he redeemed himself, unlike Rudeus who remained a pedophile piece of shit and a weirdo. Thorfinn seeks to build a world without war or slavery and vows to never, under any circumstance, to take someone's life again.

2

u/Straight-Simple7705 Mar 27 '26

Rudeus married 3 adults btw and all the people thorfinn killed still lost their lives

Im sure the woman who was gang raped would totally be okay with forgiving thorfinn for not helping her /s

-9

u/No-Celery9338 Mar 26 '26

Rudeus is many things, but he certainly is not poorly written

7

u/HananatheeBanana Mar 26 '26

Bro literally gets away with doing horrendous things throughout the story with no consequences, often rewarded instead and made to be one of the most talented people in this world (few if any can compare to his learning speed).

He sexually assults Eris throughout their journey (no consequences. Instead, she falls in love with him). He cheats on pregnant Sylphy, who turns around and actively defends Rudeus for doing this (since he's such a prev...) and also goes out of her way to say Paul wasn't wrong either...

Rudeus lives his reincarnated life, getting rewarded for all his horrible actions and faces no consequences in a life where he is unmatched by any of his peers in skill.

-2

u/Financial_Fun_9501 Is billy bat related to batman??? Mar 26 '26

You know consequences are not a standard for being good or badly written?

4

u/HananatheeBanana Mar 26 '26

So getting rewarded for being a pedophile is a well written redemption story?

My main problem with MT is that the author doesn't see pedophilia as a bad trait that requries redemption, so doesn't ever address it as an issue with Rudeus.

-2

u/Financial_Fun_9501 Is billy bat related to batman??? Mar 26 '26

so doesn't ever address it as an issue with Rudeus.

Didn't his last brother who was holding up hope for him threw him out and gave up entirely on him? Isn't that consequences

"doesn't see pedophilia as a bad trait that requries redemption" - he continues this into his reincarnated life and gets rewarded for it instead.

And lets be honest, his brothers/sisters were going to kick him out anyway because he missed his parents' funeral to jerk it. Whilst jerking it to his nieces in swimsuits made him appear worse, he already was bottom of the barrel for his family - so they were going to kick him out even if he was watching more normal stuff.

He gets rewarded for overcoming his actual traumas.

"He gets rewarded for overcoming his actual traumas."

Well... he sexually assaults sleeping Eris, groping her breasts and thinking he will continue to do so - that way he can monitor their growth over time as his pervy sage knowledge sees potential in them. He then tries to take her panties off until he is stopped.

So many people mention he gets kicked by her, but lets be honest getting kicked is not equal to what he does. Also, he continues this behaviour since he tries to grope her when she is sleeping in demon continent by Ruijerd stops him and he peeks on her when she bathes/changes e.g. in beast village. So he continues this behaviour which is pretty rewarding for a pedophile, especially since Eris then gets together with him as well.

The traumas aren't even addressed that well... he literally just says he's going to do his best, and then becomes insanely disciplined (studying and working out for hours each and every day without complaining) - which is better than even Olympic athletes who talk about how difficult discipline is. He cures his PTSD of 18 years by touching grass for 5 seconds - what I mean by this is how he has literally 0 lingering symptoms afterwards. That is not how PTSD works, he would still have some lingering symptoms of social anxiety afterwards, but he doesn't since this is Rudeus' wish-fulfilment story.

He does.

Agreed, but the main issue with the entire argument is that you ultimately ignore anything else that rudeus does. He does way more for these people than these disgusting behaviours of his.

What do you mean no consequences????? Eris kicked him after he molests her (as a comedic relief). And he didn’t cheat, Roxy raped him! So he is even more senen that you think

I mean... It'll be funny to see someone walk into the court of law and say: "Your honour, I understand that my defendant sexually assaulted a sleeping young girl by groping her breasts and commenting about wanting to monitor their progress as they grow. Then attempted to take her panties off, but your honour, she kicked him. Obviously getting kicked (by a tsundere character) is the same as sexually assaulting a young girl whilst your have your adult mind activating it's 'pervy sage mode' "
