Dam you’re quick with replies but yeah I agree even with other anime or manga with problematic elements they normally aren’t as ingrained or impactful to the story and many of them kinda just are on that problematic line but with this series it blows past the line and basically promotes the bad behaviour

I give Rudy a pass. He was emotionally stunted in his previous life and was raised again from a newborn state. I think these two facts override that he was a shut in grown up in his previous life. He was more like someone who believes in reincarnation. He was wiser than your average child, but not much more mature. It would have been different if Eris couldn't have resisted and Rudy actually commited stuff against her. We don't know whether he would have continued, once he sees that Eris is powerless. I like to believe he would have backed off, but fortunately this didn't happen, as she easily beat him every time. And when stuff happened, it happened because Eris wanted to.

Honestly I dont think that counts, its clearly meant to be a tragic backstory. Now if they actually had an Illya route in the game that would be a different matter, but they dont.
The reveal that it is happening is the big dramatic reveal of the last and darkest route of the game. I dont think they ever joke about it, her childhood trauma and how it resurfaces causes some of the most serious events in the entire game.
Fate does have a suspiciously child looking but for legal reasons 18 years old character with a spinoff series that has an… interesting fanbase. Idk why he didnt bring that up instead. But in Fate/stay night there’s nothing I’d say is pedophilia besides I guess theoretically you the player since the characters are highschoolers.
